Thanks for the info! I am very new to riding, and in fact hubby will not even teach me anything until I take the class.

Count yourself lucky. I taught my then-girlfriend (now wife of 25 years!) to ride. She was doing extremely well, but one early lesson she learned was that just because I could take a turn at a certain speed did not mean she could take that same turn at the same speed. After that "hard knocks" lesson, she learned to take turns at her own speed and I would wait up for her if she fell too far behind.
