1st. Went to Chaparreal today to check for ya. They don,t carry Teknic brand. They have the following in size 11's,

Alpinestar:
ST Pro Repelic/ Black/Red-199.97
StagePro Goretex Black ---206.00
SpacePro Black------------251.00
GP Pro Vent Repelic-------189.97 in US White/Red or Blue
GPS Black/Orange----------170.99
As for the tires,
Front they had 1(Dunlop MM90 Elite 61.97)
Rear they have 5 different one from 98.00 to 130.00

The rest of my stuff is Teknic Lightning, but I don't really NEED to match boots. I do need a pair that fit reasonably well. My foot is medium width, so I'm a pretty easy fit for footwear.

The 19" front rim on an old GS1100E is a harder fit, for a tire that would be suitable on a track. I like to mount tires in pairs, of course. So that limits the choice on the rear as well. I'll just ride the Busa at track days, for now. The OEM Bridgestones actually work fine on it at Big Willow...taking the GS1100 to the track is just something different I'd like to try sometime.

P.S. You should head down to the Stir Crazy sometime, 6917 Melrose Ave., Hollywood. Meeting place of LA Busas, Saturday afternoons, 2-3 P.M. Take Melrose exit off US 101 and go about 3 mi. west on Melrose.
