I am in the same boat right now. I use a Dowco Guardian that works just fine and has grommets for a lock (use it, I had one stolen two months ago and they are not cheap). Be sure to get larger than the size 50 as it hardly fits a Hayabusa even though the dudes at the shop will tell you it will.
Grommets are the metal loops that are kind of sewn or stamped in the canvas that you can put a lock thru to keep the cover from getting stolen (like mine did). Of course I always lock the handlebars though so the bike is less likely to get stolen. Besides that I just always keep an eye on mine and I never leave it where idiots or punks will have access to it (the bike that is).
Friend of mine just got his Harley tipped over while he was at a local bar. That sucks big time. If I so much as see someone touching a bike I freak (regardless of who's bike it is). Look but do not touch you jerk!!
