It’s been forever since I‘ve used a Suzuki oil filter on the Busa but so far I’ve been using the Kawasaki filter on the Z. Still makes me chuckle when I read Made in China on the label. Can’t Japan make their own filters? Is it the same for Suzuki’s filter?

Suzuki made in Japan

Tire makers do this too in several countries, even Michelin. :)
Everybody sources out everything these days.A friend was very proud of his new Honda dirtbike. He said "Cool, made in Japan." I said,"not so fast" looked at the serial number...first letter "M" that means assembled in Mexico.LOL. Tires...right here sometimes...Made in Canada
Just about all companies these days will get their products made or assembled wherever is cheapest.I'd guess 95% of the shelves at Walmart contain "Off Shore" products. Some countries for whatever reason just won't use or buy Chinese products, haven't for years, their own principles I guess, based on ancient history.Canadian Tire... big retailer up here, full of "Off Shore" products. As a kid we were always instilled by my old man to avoid things that were "Made in Japan" now we want them to be made there, and not substandard products from Thailand,Singapor,China,Mexico, etc. I'll buy things from anywhere depending on price/quality...it's unavoidable. We could help ourselves in North America in a huge way with say cars for instance. We could all buy North American, but we don't.Some buy: Honda,Acura,Toyota,Hundai,VW,BMW,etc. Think of our economies if we ALL bought cars made here.I wanted a compact car this time out...what to buy from here....

I whent with Acura. Shame on me. Rubb.

The store I shop at had a few (four double roll packs) of TP limited to one per and since who knows when TP will return to the shelves in quantity I bought one. Looked at the package when I got home and they're made in a Canada. Thanks to our northern brothers from one in Coarsegold.

I noticed the Hayabusa was assembled in India for a long time, mine says made in Japan on the info plate but that doesn't mean it was assembled there...

We had to wear specific pins on our uniforms and you guessed it, they were made in China.

When serving, a friend of mine in recruiting sent me a whole bunch of Canadian Army recruiting knick-knacks (tee shirts, water bottles, pens, hats, etc) to hand out here and there. All of it was made in China...I was almost embarrassed handing it out with that tag...we want people to think of the Canadian Army and not China.

There are a ton of wierdo-perverts out there who would pay BIG money for a pic of "All THIS." Do they still make nickels? Give it a couple years, coins will be a thing of the past.Their only use will be for those vending machines they have in the men's room at bars.
