im about to to purchase my second helmet. im stuck in the middle of buying a scorpion or icon airframe helmet. which one will be the better buy?

which ever one fits you better. They are both snell and dot approved.... Fit and comfort are the deciding factor next is air flow if you live in a warm climate.

I have BOTH and like both....but edge goes to ICON (lighter, ventilation and design) but IMHO, cannot go wrong with either.

i just got a exo 1000 about a month ago,love it. lots of vents,drop down tinted inside visor and inflatable cheeck pads

since the new 1100 has been released, you can snag the older 1000 for cheap ($130 here Scorpion EXO-1000 Helmets $124.95 from SportbikeTrackGear.com)

The EXO-1000 was actually my 1st choice but backed down since it was NOT cheap then. Great reviews for the exo-1000 here: Scorpion EXO-1000 - webBikeWorld
