So i got the new helmet today and im amazed at the physical outter shell size difference between my Icon Alliance and my Bell Vortex both helmets the xl and xxl are in the same shell size but the Icon is SO MUCH SMALLER than the Bell. Over the winter im thinking about Buying an Arai or my buddy wants me to try out a AGV GP-Tech helmet but until then this fixes how much i hate my Bell. The bell is ungodly loud and, even though it was extremely tight at the store after break in it became loose enough to float. I weighed out the Bell the Icon and my dads Scorpion EXO 400 and was suprised at the difference. The Scorpion is physically smaller than both the Icon and the Bell. So being a smartass i bought a pair of $4 helmet speakers on ebay and got them and was disappointed until i removed the foam surrounds and placed them behind the liner of the helmet directly out from my ears and i dont think i need to spend the money on better speakers since these are pretty loud and have good sound quality. Im going to rubber cement my ipod shuffle to the side of my helmet and hide all the wiring. That way if i get stuck in the rain i can pull it off lol.
