Leather jacket fit

How tight should a leather jacket fit?

I got a steal on a "Ridenow" jacket with removable liner, but it is kind of tight. The sleeve length is OK but I have to strain my left arm when fiddling with helmet straps and if I turn my torso to look back I feel the jacket holding me back a bit. The salesman at the store said it breaks in with time.

Did I buy too small, will it break in, or is this normal????

if it feels ok normal seating position I would say it is fine.. it will loosen up a bit with time but according to some track guys here, a loose fit is bad news..

Dude
Its hard to get used to at first, but the tighter the better for safety reasons. I am 6-7 and its not easy getting this stuff on or off but once you are on the bike it fits like a glove.

Tip, when you leather is new do not take it off right away after a day or riding. Let it dry naturally while its still on your body - this helps it to form fit to you body. Hope this helps

PM me, I know a place making real big plastics to replace the stock ones, so you don't blow away.
