I've had my Sportster for over 20 years and done a few mods, ported heads, cams, exhaust, etc over the years and enjoyed it.
If a H2R gives me the hit and 5 seconds it's a pretty good race LOL.

Went to look at a Sportster today | Random Thoughts
And while I was talking with the salesman I got to thinking.... How may lawnmower engines would it take to equal the horspower of a sportster ??? Here is what I came up with- 14 x 5hp = 70 hp Then I got to thinking..... How much would they weigh ??? 14 x 30#'s = 420#'s So in my...

Harley has 135 crate motors now. Snatch the cam out and put something decent and they make nice power. 150+. I’m not looking for anything like that. Maybe the 120-130s would be nice. I expect about 115 out of this. Instant torque after 2000 rpm.
Getting shiny stuff is always fun.....
At least your 9'er domestic knows what to get you for Christmas....

Hi. On an HD Iwould never go with a turbo only a supercharger not enough RPM'S.

Jerry I ran stock wheelbase 2010 Yamaha R6S ( old body ) @ 10.29 in the 1/4 @ 129 mph trap speeds with a 1.62 sixty foot time . Be careful picking on 600's as right rider your in for a surprise
The very next weekend got my CMRA license on the same R6S

Don't go too nuts, I've done research and around 140hp the transmissions gears don't seem to hold up.

Yess sir. PV and have tune from Fuelmoto already. They say it will be fine with a couple auto tune runs after to dial it in. I also have the target tune dual wide bands. Here’s a few disassembly teaser pics.
How are the stock brakes and suspension on that big 'ol buffalo?
I'd imagine you are going into those as well....
