Ive got a 99 I'm about to button up a turbo on. Currently running a pc5-pti I re pinned to fit early first gen. I want to run power commander 5 ignition box but dynojet doesn't offer for 99-01. What the difference in 99-01 opposed to the later first gen. Can I swap flywheel or what do I need to convert to later style

Flywheel. Ecu. And harness. You'll need the harness due to the power comm needing the round white connector on the throttle bodies. You will need to stick to the 01-03 harness unless you get the bar controls for the 04 -07.
In 04 they started putting the pass light and hazard flashers on them. If you try to use an 04 -07 harness without the matching bar controls your lights won't work right.
Yes I know the 01 was 16 bit processor but it has the correct harness to go to 32bit. I have done it many times.
