I have 2005 Hayabusa and ignition key almost broken.
Can i go to make a copy at any place that duplicate keys or this key has a imobilazer chip and could be done only at Suzuki autorised dealer and need to be programmed?

I dont think its a chip key, I have an 05 also. My dealer suggested a locksmith for a key. They were able to make one to unlock the trunk, but the kid working the counter could not make one to work the ignition, he tried numerous times.
actually it's not damaged, but I have only one copy and it's always better to have two or three. But I don't want to pay 10 times price of making key copy to a dealer.
When I bought my '05 it came with 2 ilco keys and I just wanted one with the plastic on top w/ the "Suzuki" engraved in it. I went to my local dealer and the BLANK key was $14, went to Wal-mart and had it cut for free against the ilco I had. Works like a charm.
