I have been around for a bit and have enjoyed all of your work on this site, as well as the good, bad, funny as he!! and some posts that I just didn't get. I hate to see you go, but understand what you are going through. A Friend of mine had some surgery on her noggin a few months ago for a tumor and things just aren't the same for her. She is going through depression and the Doctors have told her that her eyesight and earing are not going to get better. (Blind in one eye and loss of hearing in both ears.) I may not understand first hand, but has a Friend I understand what you may be going through.
Hope it all works out for you and that someday you visit the site and give us a little of the "Rub".

Me brother abroad........ what can I add to what has already been said.. I would be only echoing the thoughts of many here.

On a personal level.............. you have done more for my soul, sanity and general well-being than any other individual. I have ever had the pleasure of engaging in conversation on the Internet.

You went way beyond the call in my time of trouble......... For that there are no words. I could sit here and do one-handed typing all day and still not be able to thank you enough.

You are an extremely rare individual Cuzz.......... and One this place just cannot do without......... simple as that.

Now I know I haven't stuck my head in here in a while........... I've got quite a few issues Im dealing with myself...... but that's neither here nor there.

So let the grass grow around your feet for a while.......... and take care of yourself and yours.......... and give dis place a rest...... let some others try and filll your shoes for a while...... I've always thought you do Far too much anyway... but then, that's you..... always there.... by phone,e,mail,pm. Willing to lend a hand, no matter what the cos.

But then again, I suppose I could allways speak to them on a more personal level in Gaelic......... now that would really mess them up

Rubb, take a break, a long break away from the keyboard. I can't imagine what you're going through but all I can say is seek additional medical opinions if you can. Things aren't always black and white. The board will always be here in the future to stop by and see what's happening. You will be sorely missed and it will not ever be the same without your presence.

WTF! Man this day just gets worse as it goes along!
RSD you are a cornerstone of the one and only website I frequent on a daily basis. I cannot fathom the personal pain and anguish you have endured, but to then go on and ride heard on a website devoted to the thing you love and could no longer partake in was a testament to your resolve.
I am just now reading this after leaving work. A very good friend of mine gave notice today and was subsequently escorted out of the building after 15 years of service. Now I am reading this.

Unfortunately the best I can do is to wish you well my friend and godspeed with the recovery process. You will most certainly be missed. If you feel the need, drop in on us from time to time. We may need it!
