Is it neccesary? I heard that the 07's have the light cutout when you hit the starter. So would I need the delay still? Im guessing not, just making sure my facts are straight. thanks guys.

You can do what you want. I would either put an on/off switch or 10 second TDR on the low beam.

My 05 has the light cutoff during start, and I have never had a lick of problem with it. I usually do a funky start sequence to keep the light from cycling, but even if I don't, it still comes back on just fine after startup.

My 06 has the same feature, but after 6 months and 12K miles mine has started to have problems. Right now after the first cold start I have to turn the key on and let the HID burn for about 10 seconds and crank to ensure the light fires after crank.

My short term quick fix will be to swap the ballast
