cool, i can still log in.

well this got a lot more attention than i thought.. i shows me that everyone is really proud of this forum. thats good. it also means that we are all here for each other.

when i first joined several years ago, there was this title on top of the forum board, something like.. post porn and you shall be banned. it immediatley set the tone for me.. by the way before forget.. i wasnt try to point someone out in particular. sorry, for the person who posted the recent pics.. i didnt mean to single you out...no hard feelings i hope.

my point is. (even though i have only posted around 40 something threads.. i dont think a month has gone by.. usually not more than few days.. that i havent been reading something.. usually its about the new Hayabusa version coming out... :-) .. so i am always checking out the board.

maybe its just the society getting looser.. look at cable tv..

i hope this forum continues to allow suggestion/comments about itself even if it not the common opionon. i think i only read one or two posts that really seemed to attack my opionion..

Swear words are just words, porn is all together different when you are at work, but then why are you on the net when you are supposed to be working? Isn't that stealing from your employer?

I thought I recognized that name from another board. Hope you stick around.

But anyway, I understand that some would find this board too PC....and I find the new ZX-14 too ugly. To each his own. They are what they are....embrace them or make another choice. There are other options for those who don't want to be too PC. I regret missing out on the good info, but I would rather not compromise on the standards here. Personally, profanity doesn't bother me at all, but it does tend to eventually lead to disrespecting someone. It is just easier to police if we draw a semi hard line and try to stick to it. Otherwise, there will be endless debates over what is acceptable and what isn't.

Point taken, but it's not a secret where they hang out. It's not like just cuz we like it here, we never venture to other spots......

I'm sure for some it's an accepted perk of the job. I don't consider it stealing, no one is productive 100% of the time at work.

One of the main reasons I frequent this site is because of the QUALITY of people here.
There might have been a little more edgy language here of late...but not to the point where it is offensive, IMO.
This is generally a worksafe site. It is, once again, the quality of folks here that keep it that way.
I agree that we all must continually look at our content.....and strive to keep up the reputation we have.

The phrase that I'd use to describe the core group here, is "mutual respect".

You just don't find that many other places.
