Got my Class DM

Got into a conversation at lunch last week and pulled my license out. It had expired in Feb.

Went to the DMV the next day on the Busa because my Motorcycle Permit was good.

Lady convinced me to take my Class D and M at the same time. I told her everyone said you needed to bring a trail bike to pass. Several fellas in line made comments about taking it on a Busa. Negative comments.

No errors, had to retake the emergency stop several times. First time she missed clocking me and asked me to slow it down a bit.

It wasn't hard at all. She was impressed with the Busas emergency stop.

Once inside another employee took my picture while another one made the comment; now you can ride at night, with a passenger, and out of state.

She smiled real big, I guess my expression gave it away.

The rear tire only broke traction momentarily. Pea Gravel and sand everywhere.

Congrats Dad ! I took that test on a 250 Rebel .....back in 1986 . LOL !!

I was 15 years old at the time .....my father took the test that day also ......on a Honda Shadow, and failed it. I had a good laugh outta that .

Took the test when i was 14 on a moped,"hard ship priv school 8 miles away",lol,,could not drive it at nite or with a pass ,and under 125cc,when i turned 16 all the restrictions fell off,and because i had it since i was 14 no drivers ed ,,lol so now ive had it ,,,lets see 30 years,lol funny thing is i never had to take a test for a car,,road or book.
