Fuel injection all the way?

Got a question for you. My thought is that it´s been fuel injection from the first busa in 99. My friend says that the first unrestricted models had carburators?

Who of us is right?

I think your friend might be confused with the Honda CBR1100XX Backbird. The 99 was the first that was fuel injected. 96-98 models were carbureted.

Whoops, I was under the belief that the 99-00 busa's were carburated. Glad you guys informed me otherwise before I made a bet like your friend.
