Front Brakes

I've just replaced my stock front brakes with the ebc hh, Are you supposed to use the factory shims or the shims/heat dissapator thingys that come with the ebc h's or both? I only used the ones that came with the new pads . Beginning to wonder if I screwed up???Because the new brakes are loud as heck, but I'm hoping that will stop once they have seated to the rotors??? HELP!!! thanks!! Yes they do stop better already..

Double HHs will whine for a little while until they break into the rotors... I think the suggested break-in for them is like 200 miles.

I think you replace stock with the ebc ones...

You did it right. As MCM said, they will be loud until they settle in.
