Frame Sliders

I had some sliders installed recently. Is it my imagination or does the right (rear brake) sided slider portrude from the fairing more that the left side?

Aye...that it does, Crimson. If I believe correctly, the engine-mount nut depths are different.

Nothing to worry about, bro. They'll work just fine. Just make sure you tighten them up to specs and apply just a tad of Loc-tite. Not too much, though....it's gonna be hell to remove 'em if you do.

Oh yeah...and don't forget to check them occasionally, as they can get loose.

Felt the same way at first, but realized it wasn't my imagination and that everyone's were that way.

Fret not man. I thought the same thing when I installed mine. I thought I had screwed something up. I called a vortex rep and asked him if this was normal. He said the busa engine is not asymetrical so it needs a longer motor mount bolt on the right side to provide the protection it needs on the right side. So everything is all good man.

I trimmed mine with a chainsaw to get them the same length.
