have literally stood on one street corner while the other side of the street is being poured on...just odd whether down here.

However, we can ride all year long and the avg. high/low between Oct & May (8 months) is 79/58 with lots of sunshine and very little to no rain for weeks at a time.

Gotta love the south!! I never even heard of Love bugs before I moved down here!! It's amazing how much damage a little bug (or well two bugs most of the time) can do to a paint job, your visor, and the taste in your mouth...

I love the south.. I love riding year round... and actually after Hurricane Katrina, My bike was my vehicle of choice because I could get between fallen trees and it was cheap on gas.

This rain down here is nasty since the weekend and there does not ssem to be an end until next week.

Gotta love the 50% chance of rain everyday..... it's like gambling.... it may rain... or ... maybe not.... you feel lucky PUNK? Huh? Do ya?

I actually LOVE the storms in FL...you can almost set your watch by 'em

Me too, Michelle! I usually open the garage door and sit out there smokin & drinkin & watchin the storms blow through~ It's really cool to see the waves of rain blowing across the nieghbor's roofs~ The bolts of lightning are almost as good as a Pink Floyd laser light show... especially after dark! But when they hit so close it about breaks your ear drums... or far enough off to cause a rolling thunder that would make AC/DC proud.. I love it!!
 It's very awesome to watch Mother Nature in action.... until she decides to take a strike at my house anyhow!

I guess we're weird

I LOVE a good storm, and it seems that in FL, they come so often and leave just as quickly, it's just a nice break from the routine

Haven't had hardly a drop of rain here in a while...I live in a dust bowl!

It's like 50% coverage. 50% of the state will get rain. Chances are if you ride far enough, you will get wet. IT only sucks when you just washed the bike!
