Well, I finally got the gilles rear sets in today. It took a couple of hours to install. The instructions were not the best, and some grinding with a die grinder was needed to make the stock screw in brake lever arm for the brake return spring to work properly. Also it took sometime to figure out where I wanted the pegs... it has many positions to choose from. It also took sometime to install the rear SS brake line and paint the rear brake master cylinder. While that was drying, I painted the modded front brake master cylinder reservoir bracket too. I havent gotten a chance to ride the bike. My passenger rear sets/pegs are out for powder coating. They will be black like the frame. Like many others here... the blacked out pegs look good and make the bike look more complete and balanced! My levers are black.... the rear sets are black, so I figured I may as well as get the rear passenger rear sets done too! Now waiting on them before I can ride the busa again!
