Dropped it in the garage..

Washed her up and went to put her up on a cheap rear stand I got off ebay(I know, already got rid of it, shopping for a nice one), well I thought everything was ok until I started to push then over she went... I threw a rant and F#%K a few times picked her up and inspected the damage.. scraped rear fairing under the GSX1300, frame slider, front fairing where the clutch cover is and below the right grip, right mirror, and it broke my puig so I ripped it off and shattered it on the ground, sigh. Could have been worse the exhaust made it out ok and the bar ends and pazzo's were hardly touched.

I have done that TWICE! HATE IT. I will eventually replace the plastic on the right side. I also broke the double-bubble, but I replaced it. I was pinned between the bike and the riding mower last time. I am now building a bigger garage.

That sucks! Unfortunately accidents happen. Shouldn't be too hard to fix though.

I may have a right side mirror and stock windscreen for you, but it isn't a double bubble...

wow that sucks...was the tip the direct result of the cheap stands? Do you want to tell us the make? I have the T-Rex ones and haven't had any issues yet but I be interested if you had an issue with that brand.

Happend to me last month, I hate it too. the side stand folded and the bike rested on the front bumper of my brand new Expedition. Damage was only paint scuffs and little rash on the headlight

Nasty, but many have had it happen. Just take a deep breath and get it back to wear you want to.

I got the stand off ebay, <a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SWINGARM-MOTORCYCLE-SWING-ARM-SPOOL-PADDOCK-STAND_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742Q2em153Q2

I know that the way the spool hooks attack it a piss poor design and i dont think it would have happened with a better quality stand like a Redline stand..my .02

What brand did you have that did not work???

Any one use GP Pro stands they look pretty good and the price for a set is not bad. Im debating between those, Trex and Redline.
