Dude, don't buy a new vstrom!

Just drove 3300 km on vstrom. 6.1l/100

I have 08 busa that was stored in Ontario. Driving back to Alberta, I'm avg 5.4l/100, that's with spirited on ramps, some random giving er and same speed as vstrom. All headwind so far. Which means it'll be even cheaper. So disappointed with new strom.

What happened mr Suzuki?

My Gen 3 did 6,8l/100km in the first 900km, meaning 35mpg. Worse than expected, but also not a lot of highway. Will report back with more distance under my belt.

I’m at 35-40 consistently. 35 is running hard in corners and many 35-120 spurts every 1/2 mile to a mile between corners then cruising back home. 40 is normal riding which is normal spirited. If there is such a thing.

Fuel economy | Gen 3 Busa Information

During a short trip, I managed to ride a tad below speed limit, for 320.1 Km (108.94 mi) with a fuel consumption of 5.1 l/100Km (46.12 mpg). Adding distance traveled and remaining distance, I got a range of 392.16 Km (243.72mi) for a full tank of regular unleaded gas. Impressive.
