Busa & Ethanol?

I've run both and the Ethanol mix gives me less MPG so I try to avoid it as much as possible...

Anyone ever run 102+ octane fuel? I ran it (1 gallon mixed with whatever was in the tank) in my 02 Busa a couple of times and once it ran real hot while stopped at a traffic light. The temp meter ran all the way up. It only did it the one time which happened to be when I was running 102+ so I assumed it was because of the gas. But haven't tried it in my 08 Busa yet.
Anyone? Results? It did perk up my 02 a bit. And LOVE the smell of the exhaust with it.

Ethanol does have less energy content per equivalent volume than gasoline, just as gasoline has less energy content per equivalent volume than diesel fuel:

Ethanol - 84,000 BTU/gallon

Gasoline - 125,000 BTU/gallon

Diesel - 130,500 BTU/gallon
