Cool. Kind of nerve racking once you first start the cutting isnt it?

Frame sliders look good man!! They are a must as far as I am concerned and save you lots of money in the long run. That ride does sound cold, I was out the other night and it was around that tempature here in nebraska as well, tough to leave the busa in the garage when she begs me to ride her everyday I back the car out.

Vortex frame sliders on order...excited, yet nervous as hell about the install.

Oh, btw, it'll be 80 degrees here tomorrow during our ride.

I was raised in upstate New York- where, if we werent riding bikes /gocarts/minibikes- we were on snowmobiles.
It was cold- but actually , all that got cold were my fingertips--- Wonder if those guards off a KV 1000 would fit!
If the roads are clear-and workload is managed- there is no reason not to ride-

Nerve racking?? Hell yeah--- the first side, I snapped the upper hook-- I put it on and off twice to verify the centering--- ^%#@#$.
I TOOK THE panels off on the second side--
as a plus- I put an itty bitty scratch under the slider, from smoothing the edges
