I was reading on different threads about clutchless shifting. Is it really safe for the bike?

I don't what everyone else will tell you but as far as I know and I'm about positive it's factual, it is safe for clutchless UPSHIFTS only, that is what you constant mesh clutch is for, which is on most bikes now, the busa have 2 constant mesh clutches, all that is required for an up shift is a slight close in the throttle while shifting. This is the same effect as the power commanders quickshifter, all it does is kill the ignition (spark) for an amount of time you determine, I think around the area of .05 seconds or some thing. I haven't used my clutch on an up shift since I got the bike and I've never had a problem. I've never read of anyone having a problem either, although you do have to learn because there is a slight window in which you shift, if you miss, then I would say it hard on the bike, but is really really easy to shift correctly. Hope this help, oh and there was a really good article in the new Sport Rider with the ducati and aprila on the front.
