is a clutch mod needed for drag racing? or is it a waste of money?

Before I put mine in it felt jerky trying to slip the clutch, after it was installed it was really smooth while slipping it. If you plan on dragracing its a must have.

If you are going to drag race it will be the best money you will ever spend. I picked up 3 renege on my fastest previous time before I put mine in. It makes the bike way more consistent to launch. The engagement point in the clutch lever will be in the same spot everytime. You might also look into getting Brocks clutch cushion as I have heard nothing but great things about it also

Personally I think the Brock's clutch mod is a must have on any BUSA. It's normally the first mod I do (along with removing the warning labels, reflectors, and mud flap)... :beerchug:

I have the clutch mod
first with the ring , now welded. But always with the stronger springs.

Whats the function of the cushion.
