Anybody pulled the cluth basket out of their bike yet? I found the Primary Driven Bearing was missing two needles from the cage assembly. I was wondering if anybody else has discovered this also and if it was a defect or not.

I've had mine totally out when I installed my modded GPS. I saw no issues. I bought my bike brand new. Is yours new?

Yep, new with about 500 miles. It doesn't appear to have fallen out and all the other needles are secure in the cage.

Can you take a picture? I'm sure other Gen-2 pilots would like to see what to look out for.

Talked with a dealer today, said they have seen it on the Hayabusa's and the Gsx-r 1000's also. They have ordered replacements that came in the same way and it is probably designed to allow oil to enter easier. I'll probably order a spare just in case and see if it is designed the same way. I'm not to worried since it's under warranty anyway.

He'll probably get you for 2-3 hours I would guess. Think it takes longer to get the plastic off than to pull assembly. While he's already in there, you might consider changing to the high volume oil pump gear also. It will increase oil volume and pressure, helping to keep everything good and lubricated!
