No this isn't another whether I should rivet thread. Bottom line is I am going to use a c-clip masterlink.
Question is I read to smear RTV or Locktite on the c-clip to help ensure it does not remove itself from operation. Will either of these methods be susceptable to chain cleaning with kerosene or any other chain friendly solvents?
Red loctite? High Temp RTV?
