Cheap Radiator mod

Hi all. My lowering strap buckle kept hitting my radiator when I losened it to ride on the street. Here is a cheap fix that only cost me $2.86 at Home Depot. The material is from and aluminum mesh gutter gaurd. I trimmed and cut notches for the upper and lower radiator mount. Bent it into a C shape, inserted then bent the ends over. It is fairly solid, doesnt move and I don't think it will make any noise. All I did was remove the side fairing.

Wow a very cheap radiator guard... Very nice May have to think about that one myself next time the fairings come off

Very good idea. I have already had to repair my raidator once from road debris. That will be one of the first mods I do to my next Busa.
