Maxima here as well, myself and all the guys I ride with. Some tried other stuff, but during some maintenance days I cleaned their chains, waxed and rode and they all said they liked the no flinging spray.
I use 611 chain cleaner as well, smells better than kerosene (never used on chains but used to work with the stuff).

Cleans up easy, absolutely no fling, last a long time. I swear by this stuff.

I have been using suzukis, but it makes a mess. I will try the Maxima. I use it on dirt bikes, but never paid attention to sling off.

Why chase the bike around with a can of lube?
Here is what I got...
Scottoiler chain oiling system $149

http://www.riderstation.com/catalog/proddetail.php?prod=SMK7

I got the larger touring reservoir (good for 5000-8000 miles) and love it...chain stays way cleaner, perpetually lubed, adjustable rate for dry or wet conditions...
I have had mine on for about 6000 miles now and will never buy chain lube again...(except for my 1980 GS1100)
Give it a look...any bike without a center stand this is the way to go...
