chain help? asap?

I just received a chain, and i have the master link too? My ? is do i need to rivets for the one side? or do i just use the tool i have to pinch it together ?
those of you have done your old chain should know what i mean.

The prongs on the master link ARE the rivets. Push that assembly thru the back side of the chain with O rings and then put O rings on the front side, align and push on front link plate. Then use your rivet tool to spread out the prong. Does that help?
also make sure to lube the O rings before installing.

DO NOT SMASH THE "O" RINGS use the side plate "U" shaped piece to keep from doing that. "O" Rings are they to keep lubricant inside the pin. Check out Busa manual it shows you how the pin is to be staked and what the tolerances are. Wardie
