here in pennsylvania we have wild non endangered SNAPPING turtles that sometimes get as big as 50-70 lbs. i now folks that pay up to 5 lbs a pound for it... now remember...you go into a pond arround here and one of these things are in it...you will loose fingers ...toes....uhhh.... yea...stuff like that... and restaurants around here have homemade turtle soup...its quite good actually. so forget the cat you had at golden walk... dog you had in southern america dishes... turtle is good eating...
