Hi Everyone, My name is Pepper, I am a tech rep for corbin, We are currently in development of some new products for the Hayabusa. At this time we are working on a seat and smuggler combo and are thinking about developing some other products. If any of the Hayabusa owners have any suggestions or ideas for things that you would like to see us build for your bike we would love to hear them. At Corbin we are a customer driven company and really value your opinion. please take a look at the smuggler and other product on our site and give me some feedback. Thanks in advance, pepper

For someone who does a lot of traveling, I think it's great. However, for me, I think it takes away from the sporty look of the bike. Great idea, but not for me.

Thanks.

My honest OPINION - It's ugly.

When I first saw the Smuggler for the Yamaha FJR I liked it. It really does look good on that particular bike. It does nothing for the Hayabusa though.

(elmostro @ Mar. 18 2007,21:53) seats, nobody can beat tobin, he is the greatest.
Not to take over the thread or bash Corbin, but I prefer Seargent over the brick feel of Corbin.

Kewl guys, I want honest opinions, as for our seats everybody has different likes and dislikes. We happen to make our seats different than everyone else, they are firmer, but there is a reason for that. And as for the Smuggler, I will try to get som pics posted while it is being developed. I know that the Busa can be both a sport bike and a sport tourer and we want to stay true to that.

I always thought the Rumble seat like on the Rune was a nice setup, maybe that could be made for the Busa. I just bought the Corbin rear seat with backrest for the wife, and I am dreading the day we go for a ride, and then she hangs out with her friends and I take the bike out by myself and I have this ugly backrest with out a passenger. LOL

lol that sucks, I never was crazy about backrests on sport bikes but I will kick the rumble seat idea around with the other guys at Rand D.

I got the Passenger seat with the backrest from Corbin. Everyone who has sat on the back loves it compared to the stock seat. I also like to ride with my kids. Not only do they like it much better, but it also give me 100x more peace of mind knowing they will not go off the back if I get on the throttle a little. I won't be giving mine up anytime soon.

I actually like the idea of the matching saddlebags on the bike. I guess I am the only one that does?? My thinking is on for a trip, off for the normal riding.

How much more room does it have to offer over the hump mod? Classy looking but really takes away from the established image the Hayabusa has which is defined by that rear hump. Maybe a little more work on the looks but a good concept.
