Just picked up a 2000 BUSA bl/slvr - love it. does the newly limited top speed (186mph i think) go away or higher atleast with the use of a yellow box and a negative correction setting?

As far as pipes, which pipes or pipe has a high pitch buzzy sound? would a set of the slip ons work or does a header need to be added?

Lastly, the PC2 - is it necessary to use this tool to adjust the injection for all pipe modifications? What about the 'airbox' mod. how much should the PC2 cost and does anyone have K&N filters for these bikes? Thanks alot for the info.

i have the micron titanium and have had good results. If you get a pipe you need either a yosh box or a pc2 to adjust the FI. There are a number of good pipes. Akraprovic, yosh, two brothers..........I have a yellow box and it corrects your speed all the way up the busa runs 10% fast. I am getting Motorhead's airbox mod and will dyno with stock airbox then with Motorheads a map will be made for this mod by dynojet. Will let you know on results......The yellow box has nothing to do with increasing top speed it just calibrates your bike I used a gps to calibrate the speed................
