building a drag bike

I have ZERO doubt they can build what you want

Just pointing out LSR may be a completely different geometry and pivot heights and ...and......and
and you are opening a can of worms into some what uncharted waters

Is it worth it? at some point you can keep going different directions and not finish it. Has Eric started your frame mods yet? Will a entire frame manufacture take longer than the mods you had planned for your frame?
When reinventing the wheel doesn't give any ROI lol

No big changes to the bike this year. Taking it easy this year as we welcomed my son in to the world last October. It’s been hard getting to the track this year. But I did make it once with the bike and found the oil pan baffle didn’t do what I wanted. So I’m going to try and run 5 quarts of oil in the bike to solve the oil pressure dip. I also put a diaper on the bike this year. Now the bike is cutting a good 60 foot I bought an output shaft support. I’m very happy with the bike now and can’t wait to chip away at the tune up that’s in the bike. Last year I ended up with a best of 4.9x in the 1/8 mile. This year off the trailer it went just a little bit faster. I made some changes to the tune like raising the shift points and adding some timing back in. The air is was not as good as it was last fall. I suspect it should have gone 4.90 or 4.8x on that pass. I believe it should go 4.8x once I dialing the 2nd kit ramp in. I should be able to get more aggressive with it. I will post some slips here. One slip will be pb with one kit on and the other with both nitrous kits on. Also trying to figure out away to pull some power out of the bike on the 1-2 2-3 shifts as it likes to spin the tire pretty good. 2 weeks ago I decided to cut my tank shell and make it much easier to get lower on the bike and get my fast ass forward more. I hope this will help keep the front end down when I turn this bike up some more. Currently the bike has a 50 shot in the 1st stage and 85 shot in the 2nd stage.

What Tank Shell and Fuel cell are you using? Any pics of the fuel cell mounted? Also awesome info By the way. Great Thread.

Tank shell I got from rc performance and I use a jl design front rack that has a fuel cell and battery mount. Works pretty good.

Made it to the track last weekend and the modified tank shell worked great. The air sucked so bike didn’t go as fast as I hoped but it would have been in the 4.8x. Going to change the nitrous set up this winter to solve my 60 foot problems. Dennis also helped with the tune changes I wanted to make for the shift kill stuff. That helped the bike not spin on the 1-2 shift. N

At the track this weekend for event my buddy set up. Off the trailer bike went 4.96 and then 4.93. I been fighting a problem with the bike and I think I got it now. I changed the 1st stage of the clutch and next pass I went a pb with the bike. Hopefully with the better air today it will pick up a little more. But I’m pretty happy with how this baby 1441 is doing with a 120shot of go juice. And the bike is only 70 inches right now.
