my brocks system is leaking on the left side. it is at the point where cylinders 3 and 4 tie into the final collector. not sure what to do. has anyone else had this problem?

If I ever get to that second oil change I'll have to inspect. There's no way I'm going to hear it

no no no, its leaking at the slip joint. the joint is fully together. and no wheelies that have damaged the exhaust.

i can hear it whispering, like an exhaust leak at the slip joint. not loud, just annoying. the other slip joints do not leak

Yes, My Brocks has a leak also. Going in the shop at Smithers over the Holidays. New chrome wheels and fix the obnoxious exhaust leak.

Can you put a hose clamp on it around the leak? Or get a tube/Pipe expander and stretch it out 1 or 2 thousandths?

call Brock and ask him about it. If there's a problem with his exhaust systems he would want to know about it. He's a very understanding guy who stands behind his products.

i`ve installed about 5 different Brocks exhaust systems including mine and never had a problem with them leaking ?? you did put some ultra high-temp copper(red) gasket sealer inside all the exh joints ?? yea Brock will help you if you have an issue, just hit him up.

his instructions only said to use the high temp sealant on the headers. he said to use wd-40 on others so they will slip to make install easy. i thought about using it on all the joints, but i figured he knew best as he has been doing this much longer than most of us.

trust me if you put a thin layer in all the joints even the muffler joint you should be leakfree..

probably not much of an issue and will eventually stop if that small... not sure how you could hear over the racket of the pipe myself... at a 117dba on the shorty, I would forget about the leak at the slip joint..

i know its been a while, but i finally pulled it apart and redid all joints with sealant like others have said. problem is located. it is in the weld at the y in front of the slip joint. it is leaking in the center of the y. ill be contacting brocks tomarrow. thanks guys. i used a lighter to locate the leak. the flame blew in the air leak.

I would not run the pipe.. could never tolerate the noise myself... ride to many miles at a time to listen to a loud pipe..
