Bmc airfilter vs. k&n airfilter...

this is what I heard, K&N filters loosing performences over BMC filters, I've read some articles about "K&N filters loosing power so they used the BMC filters and then power line gained..."
How true is this? or what do you think?

Get a BMC race.

Some say the stock filter flows better than a K&N.

I didn't get a BMC for more flow as much as I got it for saving money.
I bought an aftermarket filter so I don't have to buy an stock air filter every 11k miles.  K&N or BMC, just clean them no replacing.

bmc race all the way. You won't be gaining much over stock other than being able to clean it

BMC.... I got the street, your choice. If you have a PC and a full exhaust, definatley the race...

its an unnoticeble difference on the track unless your very consistent
