Beater Japan aluminum tank pics!!!

Set an ebay alert, really.
Years back I set one for a rare part...a year and a half later it popped up on my phone at work out of the blue...I had basically forgetten about it, and given up too...buy it now, yep.
I then realized how alot of rare stuff must sell on there, likely within minutes of being posted.
I've had a alot of good buys on there.
If you can't pry those from the old Toad, it may be your only option...
lol

That is a good idea , i got quite a few rare and obscure bike bits on evilbay , just by doing that as Six says and also trying out searches using alternative wording , and worldwide searches .
I will sell the axles , but I just want full satisfaction for buyer .

I see other titanium axles from different companies are they that different in quality I assume?
Well , they all should be made to spec , same size , shape etc. as the stock units they were made to replace . But , some could potentially have a reduced life span if not high grade ti and hard used , or not lubed correctly , and machined for maxium weight reduction for 1 season use only recomended .
Right now Mettec USA , have clearance sale listed GSXR 1000 rear axle in ti , .around US $680 . This is the same rear axle as Busa uses , 28mm diameter , with threaded end M25 x 1.5mm , which you can score a ti nut later for . That is all there , but you can get a ti / aluminum swingarm pivot from Unit 5 , maybe through them direct or someone carrying them . Or you can get a swingarm pivot , a SAE Outlaw full ti version from Schnitz Racing , I am pretty sure . Then you only got to score the front . I can recomend a very expensive option , but best axle manufacturer in the world , a Beta titanium axle .
Lastly you wait it out , maybe even quickly get lucky , and find someone with a Zeta front and maybe rear set for sale , these are gold ti nited , and are well designed and worth paying a reasonable price for .

You are probably THE most level head on this org. Sarge , and I , for one am probably closest to the crazy opposite .... but yet we all meet here as motorcycle lovin bastards .
I go everywhere on my bike and ride/race for long stints. I don't like having to keep filling up. I'm very excited to have an extra gallon of capacity

Still at it guys....got the tank painted. I dont know how much this will help but put some Diversity Equity and Inclusion Tape under my tank lol. Still ordering parts and Figuring out stuff. Its REALLY hard to make upgrades and keep it reliable and fully streetable.
