Just arrived in the mail, all the way from Japan. Next step is to polish, paint red stripes and apply Suzuki decal and clear coat.

Four pounds lighter and almost a gallon extra capacity.

So you got it huh ?
Looks awesome !

So the hole that is already covered is a vent that releases air for quicker refills ?
What does it do just purge the air out ? Doesn't lift or open ?

Are those raised letters on it ?
You leave those there or what ?

I like lighter with more capacity?
Was the cost really what you were talking about before ?

Correct the covered hole is for the other "spout" on a quick fill can. It's just a nicely machined aluminum plate that bolts on. I suspect there would be some sort of an adapter if the tanks was going to be used with a quick fill system.

The raised letter are the Japanese kanji for Yoshimura hammered into the aluminum so I'll be leaving them there. I think I'll highlight them with red paint.

The lighter weight and increased capacity is all good and it was the price I mentioned before. It was much cheaper to order straight from Japan than go through Yoshimura in America.
