anybody in Virginia use a radar detector?

I've also heard about the "radar detector detectors", but I'll bet the cops probably use "probable cause" (e.g., tail lights and rapid deceleration more than any "detector detector." Plus, modern superhet receivers probably leak a whole lot less than the radar detectors I used to use in the 1970's. (yeah, I'm that old! :cry

Anyway, been thinking that a r-detector might be a good idea, at least since "my friend" got pulled over a few months ago. Giving it some thought. Thanks for your replies.
