Mixed feeling here; I love the rich look of the metallic bronze with the pin stripes on the dark background but I'm not feeling the ivory or white on the tops. Is the base color black or dark chocolate brown?

Not hard at all. It's a Catalyst Composites tail (+6) with the tail light bracket pre installed. It uses the stock mounting holes. I built a support for the middle using the stock latch location.
