That method was used alot in off road equipment out in the middle of nowhere......and farm tractors and monster trucks.....

Seeing the post the other day about someone buying a NoMar reminded me I still haven't used mine yet. So I came across these videos when I was searching for the how to vids and had to laugh.... This would have been me for sure in the day!

Someone recommended that to me several moons ago. I've never had the nerve to try it on a $150 tire.

that works great for oversize offroad pickup tires when the sidwalls are too flexible to contact the rim so when you try to inflate it it just leaks air out everywhere. sometimes it is necessary on semi truck tires too. I've had to use that method many times
