Just gotta say that these here "STUBBY" tire irons are the shnizzle.
Well worth every cent paid.
I was looking at going the rim protector route where you slide these "shields" around the rim whilst removing the tire. They looked to be cumbersome although I never tried them.
Buddy told me about these here STUBBY's at church, and I must say, awesome tool; not one scratch, scuff or mar without the use of those rim protectors.
With the Motion Pro bead popper (wedge type) and the Stubby's, got the front tire changed with DynaBeads installed in less than an hour.
Anyone looking for a No Scratch no mar tire iron solution, this is the tool!
