I got my new fairings off of ebay and they look pretty good....not quite factory good but pretty good. I wanted to try this new product calld 3M paint defender. Itt pretty much works like Plastidip but its crystal clear and seems to be able to be removed easier..so I bit the bullet and went ahead---My results...Not bad. It goes on jjst like spray paint but I've already learned that its all in the application. The places on the fairing where I got good coverage looked great but in areas where it was sprayed a little thin it was all pinholed and textured. Good news is that all you have to do is wait a day and it peels right off and anything else comes off with Goo-GOne. ANybody else play with this product before??????
