Matching Original Paint

The unthinkable has happened! (well its not that bad).

But I have has my Gen 1 since 1999. Not a scratch on her. Not a scratch. Looked like it came off the showroom floor.

My teenager decided to try and move my bike and dropped it in the garage. Now I have scratches on the right fairing and the tail.

I tried buying new '99 fairings, but told no loner available.

Does anyone know if it possible have a shop color match paint for a '99. I don't want a scratched bike.

Or does anyone where to find New Old Stock of '99 fairings?

I’ve taken panels to my near by Napa store that has the paint “reader” and they were able to scan the color and made a perfectly matching paint. I even had them scan my graphics and they made that too, so I’m sure a good shop probably has the same device and can do a perfect matching job

Well, one prayer has been answered. I found a NOS Right front fairing.

This is possibly the last one in the USA. It is in my basement now!

Just have to find a NOS tail section now...
