I agree with rev, I love my sig best. P229 in 357 sig. Dam thing is amazingly accurate. But I also like my Walther, my 3 Blackhawks.....um, several colt sa's...

I'm a little weak in the long arm area tho...'cept for a few pre '64 model 94's and such. Oh, one overkill rifle..rem 45-70. Kick azz bear gun! Just won't go too far!

Lookin pretty hard at a 264 mag...just not sure what brand to go with yet.

CJAJ, how do you like your 300.  

I have a .338 ultra on a 700 remmington action with custom 2 stage match trigger, topped off with a leupold vari-X 3 scope.  The only part of me that doesn't love the rifle is my right shoulder.

Spend the money and have a break put on it, makes it extremely loud but nice to shoot.  I love mine its actually a flutted mid bull, remington sendero, i did the trigger,  harris bipod, a custom break that is made about 20 miles from were i live, currently between scopes however.

Cjaj - I hope you don't think I'm picking on you because I'm not, it's just that another of your posts has caught my eye...

NC - I would recommend that you do NOT put a brake on it. It drastically increases the amount of muzzle blast that reaches the shooter (and even moreso for those to either side of you) and it alters the P.O.I. since it changes the barrel harmonic.

If you're recoil sensitive get a P.A.S.T. vest, though a .338 RUM simply isn't that much of a pounder that it can't be managed with practice.

Please don't fall into that revisionist word trap.  An "Assault Weapon" is a sub-caliber, magazine or belt fed, select-fire weapon capable of fully-automatic fire.

Just because the pissheads in congress call something an assault weapon doesn't mean it is.  If they call a dog a horse that doesn't mean we have to saddle it up and ride it into town...

Amen Brother. I don't have any guns (yet, bikes are first right now), but my bro does, He has an AR-15, 1911, .22, 9 mill., SKS (my Fav.), and others I can't think of.

grew up an avid hunter/collector.....dad had his Class III FFL for most of my upbringing....I currently only have a S&W .22 that my dad bought for me when i was 4, a Glock 27 and a Reminton 12 guage shotgun. Dad is an H&K guy - grew up shooting full autos - don't know all the models but he had them in 9, .223 and .308......plus the 50 cal sniper rifle, AR15, MAC11, UZI pistol and others I can't even remember.

even though i don't shoot as much as i used to i'm still an NRA member and give periodically to other pro-gun causes. i believe what has happened in California is possible if we just sit around and do nothing. i think the latest uproar is a call to avoid ConocoPhillips gas due to them trying to keep employees from having guns in their cars at work.

Me too! My dad had a gun shop for years....when I was 5 he gave me a S&W 22LR "kit gun"...the airweight version. Still got it. Fun little pistol to shoot.

Yeah, CA is a very good example of what happens to your gun rights if you sit on yer a$$ and don't do anything about it.  Everyone take note:  Be watchful and don't let it happen in YOUR state.

Still, we have a nice collection but we haven't been out in a while.  The wiff and I both shoot and love it!  Always!

REVLIS is that a .22 target pistol "Trailslide" made by Sig and Hammarelli? I had one by them a year ago With Blue Wood grips GREAT shooting pistol!
