Maxton is only a mile. If he did 270mph there that is some feat. Loring is a mile and a half I believe. I can see him doing 270 there.

It's a Briggs & Stratton 12.5 HP with a cast iron sleeve.

I know a little about this bike and the rider/owner.
There are rules in his class modified partial streamlined. He does keep the bike within those regualtions for the fairings. APS is less restrictive but neither allows the wheels/tires to be covered to any extra real extent. Also the rider is still very exposed. The bike still has room for even more aero's within the rules.

Yup it's a big ol' turbo on a Gen1 hayabusa engine.
At Loring he coated through the traps at 273 so you can imagine what could have been possible with a full 1.5 mile pass.
272's have been backed at Maxton in the 1 mile. And that's with the bend and the wonderful concrete.

Just out of curiousity...what's the fastest known 14 speed to date~?~
14?!?! no one keeps track based on the brand. There's some fast 12's still out there... There's not much competition within the other brands. You could turbo a r6 and probably title yourself as the fastest r6 since no one else is doing it. Even if it's slower than a regualr r6. Similar threads
