2006 busa- diff motor

Hey everyone. I've been here for some time.

I was considering putting my bike back together after a long time away from bikes.

Will the gen 3 motor/trans fit into a gen 2 frame without mods? Or minor mods?

Is there a how to or something for it? Thanks guys, bear with me as I'm on my
Mobile, and tried doing some searching and couldn't find anything really.

Apologies, I mean the 08+ motor trans into my 06

It will go. However if you don't use the whole 08 up car kit you will have to use a gen1 head on it.
Also you will have to shim the left side of the engine so the chain doesn't hit the frame. All you will need are four large washers all the same size to put between the motor and frame on the left side of the bike. Works great.

nevermind, and thanks. i found what I needed to know. seems better to stick with the gen 1 stuff.
