Just heard from Brock ...08 Busa with Chad Milholand riding 201.00 MPH on his 08 busa ......Chad was the same guy that drove Brocks 06 zx14 to 200 MPH....

Brocks Busa on the dyno made 200 hp right before going to Maxton .. This is the set up and what it made for HP ..

200 h.p. 115 ft. lbs. with his new alien system, no filter, pc and mr9 on the 08 busa.

That sounds like the same way his 06 zx14 was set up ...

Updated info ..Chad didn't ride Brocks 08 busa Lee Shierts  was doing the riding and the report i got from Chads Dad ( Dan) said  Shierts went 202  and that he thinks that Brock himself went over 200 but he wasn't totaly sure on Brocks MPH...

Chad rode Greg red zx14 on spray to 215  and 207 on motor...

Did Brock ever break the double ton in his 14?

last year brock himself couldn't break the 2 mark with the zx13.5 but with a jockey they could.
this last event the 08busa brock himself rode it past the 2mark! Piped, fueled, no air box...

Sat had a strong head wind and sunday was a good tail wind. I don't know the details as of yet which day he made the fastest runs though.

This email from Brock today ..

Hello everyone,

It's Sunday night after this weekend's Maxton event, and we are at Lee Shiert's house outside of Charlotte, NC where Lee and is lovely wife, Dawn, are showing us some much needed southern hospitality.

Every race has a its own story, and this weekend marks the second national event in 3 weeks which we have attended with the brand new 2008 Busa that we have affectionately named Chronic.

This weekend was such a mess that I will have to ask you to wait until I get a chance to complete the whole story on DragBike.com.

Here is the breakdown:

We REALLY struggled on Saturday due to mistakes made on MY part before we arrived at the event (LONG STORY!) I had spoken to Dave Owen previously about asking Lee to help us with the bike. When Lee heard we were having trouble, he jumped in his Corvette and made the 2 hour drive to Maxton ready to race on Sunday morning.
I made the first pass on Sunday after we all worked late into the night to cure Saturday's problems. The changes worked, but I still only ran 195.06 MPH. I was at a loss and needed a break to think about tuning (deja vu?)
Lee's very first pass was 200.66 MPH after the new changes were made.
Lee's second pass after additional changes netted 202.57 MPH, and the data logger said there was even more.
I decide that I needed another shot as time was running out and the tuning changes were obviously going in the correct direction. I managed a "Ëœmonkey off my back' 201.31 MPH!!!!

I will try to get the whole story out on www.dragbike.com as soon as possible with all of the painstaking details that everyone has come to expect.

Until then"¦Good Luck and GO FAST!

Brock

No....Brock went around 198 on the 14 and 201 on the 08 BUSA with the same mods...

He also said there is a lot on the table for the BUSA but they just ran out of time...

Brock's Performance tuned 2008 Suzuki Hayabusa cracks 200mph

Maxton, NC-October 21, 2007"“The 2008 Suzuki ripped across the one mile concrete runway at an incredible 202.57591mph becoming the first and only official Generation-II Hayabusa to venture into 200mph territory. On Sunday, October 21st, at the final day of the final ECTA land speed meet of the 2007 season, the Brock Davidson prepared Dragbike.com project Hayabusa was cleared for competition as rider, Lee Shierts, left the starting line on the course known as the "Monster Mile"￾. Seconds later the bike was screaming down the runway on its way to making history. Then ECTA president, Joe Timney, who personally oversaw the computerized timing of the run, came across the radio to announce the happening. Brock also took his turn as rider and got in on the action with a solid back-up pass of 201.31526mph, showing that Lee's 202mph run was not a stroke of luck. Brock later commented that, "No matter what anyone tells you, 200mph is damn fast on a motorcycle!"￾

"Of course, we are very pleased to be the first 08 Busa to go over 200mph, but to be honest the bike has a lot more left in it. With more time and tuning, I feel like it will go even faster"￾ said owner and tuner, Brock Davidson. "We only had a few days to prepare the bike, and its performance is proof that the new Hayabusa is an incredible motorcycle right out of the crate."￾

In order to prepare the bike for the ECTA sanctioned event, Brock completed minor modifications to comply with the ECTA safety requirements such as an Ohlins steering damper and a Tiger Racing metal chain guard. Then he also added his own Brock's Performance Alien Head exhaust system for maximum power. The bike was also set-up with a Dynojet Power Commander III USB with his "Maxton Mapping"￾ to handle the fueling. Dave Owen also installed an Innovate LM-1 basic and a LMA-3 data acquisition system to aid with track-side tuning.

Then Brock fitted the bike with his own "Ultra clutch"￾ modification kit and a front and rear suspension lowering package. World Wide Bearings provided ceramic bearings and Richie's Tires was the supplier for the high-speed rated Michelin Pilot Power Race tires. The bike was also outfitted with Vortex aluminum sprockets (stock gearing) as well as Spiegler brake lines. The team also used Chicken Hawk tire warmers and a special "Brock modified"￾ Regina 530 chain. The engine was lubricated with Alisyn engine oil and VP-MR9 fuel was used through out the event. Internally the engine was 100% stock and everything used on the bike is available right off the BrocksPerformance.com website which makes 200mph a reality for anyone with enough guts and talent to ride it.
