07 1ST trip to the track

Took it to the track for the first time the other night. Only mods were K&N air filter, RS-3 Bolt-ons. Otherwise bone stock with 42psi in the tires and 93 octane in the tank.

1ST Pass
1.957 60'
11.027 @ 134.30MPH

2ND Pass
1.981 60'
10.839 @ 134.18MPH

3RD Pass
1.983 60'
10.901 @ 133.96MPH

4TH Pass
2.046 60'
10.699 @ 136.07MPH

Go figure, worst 60' time has the lowest ET and more MPH.
Hope to get better next time.

I hope to take it back next week. It now has a TRS full system and a PCIIIUSB. And I am going to shoe it with a Shinko 003 200/55/17.

I've heard everyone say this, and it's been proven on a dyno, but a dyno's a (somewhat) controlled environment.

At the track, your cylinder temps increase, engine runs hotter & longer, so I think the higher octane is useful.

As far as the track times, that's pretty good for first time out. I couldn't launch worth a sh!t on my brother's bike. I was getting like 2.2 60' times. I'm a full half second faster in my car, LOL! I was able to run a 10.40 at like 140, though.

Draggin a bike is just not my thing.
