06 trade-in value?

Anyone have an accurate guesstimate of what my trade-in value would be on either an 08 Busa or I was thinking about getting a 99-00 BUsa..



I have an 06 limited(white)..
-Chrome frame covers
-lowered 3 inches
-chrome clutch and brake levers
-metal finish stator cover
-white painted stock mirrors
-stock undertail modded and painted
-swingarm license plate mount
-left fairing painted white

Will post pics since I havent posted any since I got all this work done!

Mayb one or two scratches here and there.. I was thinking if I traded it in next March or April I can get $10,000 for it but that's probably shooting for the stars..

I got an '06 as well. I remember reading a post a couple weeks back about a guy on the board scored a brand new black '07 for $8900 (I think that was O.T.D.)

IMHO that would put a used '06 in the $6000-7000 range. Depends how bad the stealership wants to stick it to ya.

Trade in would probably be between 5500-7000.
You would be better off selling it personally.

on a trade mods don't help at all,if it's been painted it can hurt you $500.I was with gsxr1k6 at the dealer to hear this.in the blue book,new paint hurts trade in.don't make no sense to me.I guess they think new paint means wreck.sell it outright.
